Review on the research progress in Zoigê grassland ecosystem

Zoige grassland, located in the northwest of Sichuan province, is an important fountainhead of Yangtse River and Yellow River. But in recent years, the ecosystem of Zoige grassland degenerated seriously under the disturbances of some foreign factors. The researches on the status and drivers of the grassland degradation, the soil nutrient distributions, greenhouse gas emission and the actions of wild animal are reviewed in this paper.Based on the above, the directions for further study in Zoige grassland for the future are also discussed.
