Abstract
on the base of the bloom of No.1 Steelmaking Plant of WISCO,mathematical models of solidification and heat transfer for bloom have been established.According to requirements of metallurgical criteria for bloom solidifying process, the relation between secondary cooling water flux and casting speed were regressed. The new control model of secondary cooling water was established. The bloom quality has been improved obviously since application of the new cooling water control model to actual production.
