Intellectuals’ selection of Modern China’s Political Reform

The political development direction can be defined to use which approaches and measures to achieve political goals.In the process of history development,there are two approaches to promote political development: one is political revolution,and the other is political reform and improvement.They both happened in modern Chinese political development.Chinese political revolution and reform is driven by the intellectuals,who have promoted Chinaese political development,and accelerated the course of Chinese modernization.The paper analyzes deeply the reform movement of 1898 and the constitutional movement intellectuals launched in modern China to clearly understand the selection of modern China’s political reform path.
