Abstract

As part of flavone compounds, soybean isoflavones have important biochemical activities and rich content in soybeans and soybean products.Soybean isoflavones possess many physiological functions, such as the prevention of cancer and osteoporosis, the improvement of woman menopause syndromes and inhibi- tion of cardiovascular diseases. Its specific physiological functions have been attended extensively by the scholars both abroad and at home. The study and application of soybean isoflavones not only offers a new approach for exploiting soybean products, but also provides people with correct reference to reasonable diet.
