Abstract
Based on the opportunity of the main city landscape plants' application census of Hebei Province from 2007 to 2008,the tree species composition, the proportion of main tree species, the growth adaptability and other status of the greening tree species used in 11 main cities were statistically analyzed and studied in this paper. The result revealed lower efficiency in application of landscape tree species in Hebei Province, with inadequate species, lower proportion of native tree species' application, and imbalanced ratio of tree and shrub. Besides, the conservation and management of tree species need to be strengthened. In consideration of.the above problems, the authors make their own opinions in order to provide guidance for its future development.
