Effects of Different Fertilization Treatment on Yield and Quality of Cucumber in Plastics Greenhouse

Abstract

This experiment used Jinchun No.4 cucumber as the experiment material,a field experiment was carried out to research effects of different fertilization treatment on middle fertility land ranged,yield and quality of cucumber were studied.The result showed that all of fertilizing treatment were obviously superior compared with the control on cucumber yield and content of vitamin C,soluble protein,soluble sugar,nitrate and so on.And these of cucumber were remarkly increased by increasing the amount of fertilization application.But the excessive fertilization made various index of cucumber was downtrend.Considering the factors of both quality and yield,about dry cattle manure 58 500 kg/hm2,N 487.84 kg/hm2,P2O5 305.47 kg/hm2 and K2O 318.02 kg/hm2 as the optimal fertilizer rate during spring season cucumber cultivation in plastic greenhouse with medium soil fertility according to the experiment.
