Abstract
Objective To study the curative effects of quetiapine and olanzapine on patients with schizophrenia and their life quality.Methods 106 schizophrenic patients were divided into quetiapine group and olanzapine group with 53 patients in each group.Results The scores of PANSS and GQOLI-74 of the groups were improved significantly.The adverse reactions of olanzapine group were more than those of the quetiapine group.Conclusion Both quetiapine and olanzapine have good effects on patients with schizophrenia and can improve their life quality,but quetiapine has fewer side effects,is appropriate for patients who need longterm maintenance treatment.
