Flotation Studies on Low-grade Scheelite with R_(31) as Collector

Abstract

Roughing Flotation of scheelite was carried out with R31 as collector,Na2CO3 as regulator and Na2SiO3 as depressant,the scheelite rough concentrate was then cleaned with water glass as depressant at 90-95℃.In lab test,a scheelite concentrate of 73.10% WO3 was obtained with a recovery of 81.67% from a run-of-mine containing 0.28% of WO3. The result showed that R31 is a suitable collector for the scheelite.
