Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of combination of scalp acupuncture and body acupuncture on reconstruction of neurological function in limb movement disorder of patients with cerebral infarction. Methods 100 cases of cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups.2 groups received neurological conventional drug therapy and modern rehabilitation medicine therapies for limb function training.Body acupuncture treatment was received after 48 h of a stable condition in control group.Treatment group received combination of scalp acupuncture and body acupuncture. The course was ten days in two groups. After three courses, the clinical effect was summarized.Movement function and daily living activity before and after treatment were evaluated by Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA) and Barthel index in two groups. Results The total effective rate in treatment group(94%) was higher than that in control group(80%,P0.05).FMA score and Barthel index of limb movement after treatment were significantly increased in comparison with those before treatment in two groups(P0.05),and improvement in treatment group was better than that in control group(P0.05).Conclusion The combination of scalp acupuncture and body acupuncture has a good facilitation on reconstruction of neurological function in limb movement disorder of patients with cerebral infarction, and can improve limb motor function, the patient's life ability,is worthy of clinical application.
