Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical advantages of anterior decompression, bone graft supplemented with ORION titanium plate internal fixation in the treatment of lower cervical spine fracture and dislocation. Methods From Xinji First Hospital during October 2009 and September 2011,43 patients with lower cervical spine fracture and dislocation in our hospital were selected,23 patients treated with transcutaneous autologous bone marrow transplantation were the observation group,20 patients treated with the back of the neck surgery approach were the control group. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, hospitalization time never function JOA score improvement of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The operative time of observation group was significantly shorter than the control group, and the intraoperative blood loss was significantly less than the control group, the differences were statistically significant between the two groups(P 0.05);during the follow-up for 6 to 18 months, the postoperative JOA scores of the two groups were significantly improved, and the observation group improved more significantly(P 0.05),all patients had received bone fusion, and no serious complications occurred. Conclusion Anterior decompression, bone graft supplemented with ORION titanium plate internal fixation in the treatment of lower cervical spine fracture and dislocation can shorten operation time, reduce blood loss, and better improve the patient's neurological function, which has certain clinical advantages.
