Abstract
Effects of low temperature stress on photosynthetic characteristics in leaves of eggplant(Solanum melongena L.)seedlings of 702 were studied.The results showed that chlorophyll contents,chlorophyll a/b,net photosynthetic rate(Pn),stomatal conductance(Gs),transpiration rate(Tr),light saturation point(LSP),photosynthetic rate at light saturation point,apparent quantum yield(AQY),CO2 saturation point(CSP),carboxylation efficiency(CE)and maximum RuBP regeneration rate were decreased;Light compensation point(LCP),CO2 compensation point(CCP)were increased,and intercellular CO2 concentration(Ci)were decreased in the former period,and then increased.The results suggested photochemical structure of eggplant seedlings was damaged under low temperature stress.
