Abstract

The prediction of recoverable reserves can be used to evaluate the current status of the oil wells,so as to take effective mode of production makes well area obtain the maximum economic recovery. In this paper, recoverable reserves of XX well block in Xinzhuang area was predicted by decline curve method, the water drive characteristic curve method and the empirical formula method.Through comparing these methods and considering various factors, recoverable reserves and recovery rate of XX well area were obtained.
