Abstract

A pectinase-producing bacterial strain HDYM-02 was separated from the liquid of flax retting in BaYan Flax Company.Strain HDYM-02 was identified as Bacillus cereus according to the test of morphological, physiological, biochemical characteristics and analysis of 16S rDNA sequencing. The single factor test on fermentation condition indicated that strain HDYM-02 showed a high pectinase activity when fermentation temperature was 33℃,urea as nitrogen, initial pH value was 7.0 and concentration of NaCl was 0.5-0.7%.The three main factors affecting reducing sugar production were fermentation temperature, concentration of urea and initial pH value.L9(33) orthogonal test manifested that the optimum pectinase-producing condition of strain HDYM-02 was fermentation temperature 35℃,concentration of urea 0.5% and initial pH value 6.5.
