Abstract

Calculates filar involute function,namely the mesh angle(α) of the gears, introduced Newton iteration method and procedure calculating method in Visual Basic language.It solved the trouble of using the interpolation and table lookup scheme,and it can figure out the result rapidly and accurately,reduced the handwork greatly and improve working efficiency.
