Comment on Deng Xiaopings New Strategic Concept of "putting aside disputes and Engaging in Joint Exploitation"

Put aside disputes and engage in joint Exploitation,the creative strategic thinking advanced by Deng Xiaoping in order to resolve the disputes of territorial land and waters has become an important principle for our country to handle the relations with the neighboring countries peacefully.This paper reviews the process of its formation and the conditions on which it is formed,presents its inner implication and analyzes its realistic feasi- bility.In the end,this paper points out that this strategic concept has the important practical significance to guide the diplomatic practice of our county and resolve some international dis- Dutes.
