Abstract
The effects of process parameters of vacuum brazing for stainless steel,including surface preparation,brazing clearance,brazing temperature,holding time of brazing,cooling rate and post-brazing heat treatment,on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the brazing seam were elaborated.The process characteristics of vacuum brazing process for stainless steel were summarized.In addition,the brazing process based on these characteristics were developed,which can be successfully used in brazing the parts of the guidance system of a certain type missile.
