Abstract
Lingering charmis an important category in ancient Chinese poetic theory.It opens out the delicate and complicated aesthetic characteristics of ancient Chinese poem.The theory goes back to ancient times,it has plentiful meanings and produced influence.Lingering charm of poem consists of multi elements such as content,format,language and skill,etc.The ancients demanded that the lingering charm of poem should be profound,plentiful and novelty.
