Abstract
According to the realistic stress path of deep excavation,general triaxial apparatus of strain control was transformed and the triaxial test conforming to deep excavation characteristics was designed.These tests were done with the saturated soil that was located in the same site and in the different depths of zhangjiakou urban district.The results of these triaxial tests were compared with those of the general triaxial tests.The study indicates that the parameters of shear strength of soil are different in the two types of triaxial tests,and that the different stress path will affect the parameters of shear strength of the saturated soil in Tianjin urban district.
