Abstract
Ocean vertical deflection is analyzed using ENVISAT along-track geoid gradient data by means of least square.Firstly an approximative geoid is obtained by editing ENVISAT altimeter data and geophysics correction. Then the along-track geoid gradient and the average of grid vertical deflection are calculated. Finally the vertical deflection of Chinese south sea(4°~25°N,104°~120°E)is got with resolution of 5°×5°.The accuracy is better than 7″.Its efficiency is proved by comparing it with the model of EGM96.
