Abstract
The marriage life for feminine at bottom of Xizhou Society in the Tang Dynasty had shared the same feature in common with the Central Plains at one hand and at another,there had formed certain local characteristics based on their own historical background.The initial lawful marriage age were between 21 and 30,women after 23 were considered to be married late in one's life and were common phenomenon and found to be in more case.The ten-years gaps between husbands and wives were major and was considered to be a normal situation.The reasons for the situation of marital pattern due to the frequent wars took place in the Western Region by Tang Empire.The status of married female was low,but strong conception of filial duty was required.The widow had three choices:one way was staying in the husband's household;the second was to back to women's family or Clan;the third was to remarry.Among the three ways,the first choice were found to be adopted easily.
