Progress and Prospects on the Research of Rural Human Settlement Environment

Rural human settlement environment includes three parts:the human environment,the geographical space environment and the natural eco-environment.All of them follow a logic of association.Abroad study of rural human settlement environment has undergone three stages:rural geography,rural development and rural transformation,and the research trend is also developed from single subject to integrated subjects.The domestic study fields are mainly in architecture,geography and socio-politics.The geographical study has undergone three stages:rural settlement research,rural environmental study and rural culture transformation study.At present,the research has some problems,and there are 3 prospects to resolve them.They are to strengthen the basic theoretical research of rural living environment,pay attention to associate study of the systematic evolution of rural settlements and the optimization of human settlement environment,and focus on the associate study between the transformation of rural main space and changes of rural living environment.
