Abstract

Objective To probe into the effects of prone position mechanical ventilation on oxygenation of ARDS patients. Methods To select 16 mechanical ventilation ARDS patients, who have prone position for 2 hours,1-2 times a day.To examine each patient's different conditions of HR,MAP,SpO2 and PaO2 when they take prone position during different period for 5,30,60 or 120 minutes, when compared with the conditions without having prone position. Results Prone position mechanical ventilation has no obvious effects on patient's HR and MAP(P0.05);As for 5 minutes' prone position, patient's SpO2 has no obvious effects(P0.05);As for 30,60 or 120 minutes' prone position, patient's SpO2 has improves obviously(P0.05);As for 60 or 120 minutes' prone position, patient's SpO2 improves obviously when compared with the conditions without having prone position(P0.05).Conclusion Prone position mechanical ventilation can improve ARDS patients' oxygenation, which may become one of auxiliary treatments for ARDS patients.
