Study on Transformation from Xi'an Geodetic Coordinate System 1980 to China Geodetic Coordinate System 2000 Based on ArcGIS

Abstract

China Geodetic Coordinate System 2000(CGCS 2000) is the newly used coordinate system,while the commonly used coordinate system for surveying and mapping and project palnning is Beijing Geodetic Coordinate System 1954 or Xi'an Geodetic Coordinate System 1980.Therefore the transformation of these systems has to be solved.The paper studies the basic theory and method of transformation from Xi'an 80 to CGCS 2000 and offers the solutions to the transformation in ArcGIS environment.
