Abstract

In 2008,water quality parameters were monthly monitored in three tributaries of Zhuozhang River system, and spatial-temporal variations were compared among those rivers. The results showed that: ①The river dominated by agricultural nonpoint pollution through agricultural plain had best water quality, the river dominated by agricultural nonpoint pollution through alpine-valley had relative poor water quality which influenced by the agricultural activities, and the river dominated by industrial and domestic waste water had worst water quality with organic matter and indicators of nitrogen and phosphorus seriously exceed standard.②Four chemical parameters of including NH4+-N,TN,TP and CODMn in three tributaries had significant differences in different seasons.Nitrogen concentrations of the river dominated by agricultural nonpoint pollution were highest in wet season and were lowest in dry season.TP and CODMn concentrations were relatively stable, and had little variation among various rain periods.Nitrogen nutrient concentrations of the river dominated by point serious pollution were highest in dry season and were lowest in wet season.TP and CODMn pollution of individual monitor section were relatively obvious.
