Abstract

By way of new methods, some iterative approximation theorems of fixed point for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces are researched. The results presented in this paper improve and extend the corresponding results of Kirk-Gaehel, Rhoades, Huang, Schu and Xu.
