Design and Application of the Urban Multiway Intersection

In connection with common problems at the multiway intersection, a description is given hereby of the methods for design of such intersections, including adjustment of the type of intersection and measures for traffic organization. It is illustrated through the engineering practice in reconstruction of the intersection at Longjiang Rd. and Changjin Rd. in Changzhou that certain technical measures can be adopted to alleviate effectively the traffic burden there.
