Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical distribution and drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa(P.aeruginosa) in our hospital in order to offer reference to control nosocomial infection and guide drug treatment in clinic.Methods The strains and drug resistance of P.aeruginosa were detected by Walkaway automatic bacterium identifying and drug sensitivity analyzing systems,and the drug resistance was analyzed.Results P.aeruginosa were mainly isolated from patients in Department of Thoracic Surgery(34.83%) and Department of Neurosurgery(20.22%).Among the 178 specimens,the dominant specimen was sputum(49.44%).The drug resistant rates to most antibacterials were high,and showed low drug resistant rate to piperacillin/tazobactam,cefoperazone/sulbactam and imipenem.Conclusion P.aeruginosa is multi-drug resistant.Rational application of antibiotics and standard prevention should be strengthened to control the nosocomial infection caused by P.aeruginosa.
