Abstract
In this paper, extraction process of polyphenols from lotus seed with solvents was studied. The kinds of solvents, solvent concentration, extraction temperature, ratio of solid to liquid, extraction duration and extraction times was studied respectively on single factor test. Based on the single factor test, the optimum extraction technology was determined through orthogonal experiments: ratio of solid to liquid was 1:15, ethanol concentration was 90%, extraction temperature was 60℃, extraction duration was 1.5 hours, extraction frequency was 3 times. Under the above conditions, the extraction rate of polyphenols from lotus seed was 7.94 mg·g-1.
