Geological feature and ore-controlling factors of Dayugou gold deposit in Songxian,Henan Province

Abstract

Dayugou gold deposit is located at Waifangshan fault rift in Huaxiong upwarp,where magmatic activity is intense and fault structures develop.The gold orebody is controlled by altered faulting belt.The altered rock is the host ore-bearing rock.The ore shape is similar to the ore-bearing altered belt.The metal minerals are mainly sulfide and their oxidation minerals.The ore material is partly derived from deep volcanic magma and ore-hosted base strata.The faulting structure is the basic and important prospecting sign.
