Impacts of Wu Xun Criticism on the Historical Field of New China

Criticism on Wu Xun and the film The Biography of Wu Xun started in circle of literature and art.It was the first political movement throughout China after its establishment.Criticism in the historical field came relatively later and was less fierce bur it exerted negative influence on the historians of new China,being nourished by the Marxist historical view.The idea of class struggle became rampant in the historical field,which had gone astray from historicism.Consequently,history was,for the first time,distorted to cater to political struggle.
