Abstract
[Objective] The study aimed to investigate the status and changes of soil nutrient in Yucheng City, grasp the transformation results of medium-and low-yielding field, further improve the productivity of land, stabilize grain output.[Method] Temporal-spatial changes of soil nutrient in 1980 and 2008 in Yucheng City of Shandong Province were compared.[Result] The content of soil organic matter and available phosphorus increased more than one time, the content of soil total nitrogen and available potassium have also significantly increased. In space, the deficient areas of soil nutrient increased significantly in 2008,in 1980,the distribution of soil salinization improved greatly, only 1% area was threatened by soil salinization.[Conclusion] Because of medium-and low-yielding cultivated land improvement and saline soil treatment, soil fertility quality in Yucheng City increased significantly during the past 30 years.
