Abstract
Daijiazhuang lead-zinc deposit is a new discovery in the western Qinling Devonian lead-zinc metallogenetic belt in recent years.The deposit is a carbonate type mainly composed of cerussite and smithsonite.It is a new type deposit different from sulphide type in this area,and difficult to be distinguished in the field.The finding of the deposit represents nature of metallogenetic variety and complexity in the area,showing that Devonian lead-zinc metallogenetic belt can extend to the west and ore-bearing strata run-up gradually to the west with a new metallogenetic type.We should reconsider metallogenetic environment using new thinking of ore-finding,and use new prospecting model to guide geological exploration in order to make a new breakthrough for ore-finding.
