Abstract
A simulation model of temperature and electric-magnet fields of steel wire is established in the process of induction heating based on the theory of induction heating and heat conduction. The ANSYS simulation tools are utilized for the induction process of three typical diameter raw steel wires, and the inner relationship of heating power, steel wire line speed and the steel diameter are acqired by comparing the results, which will guide the automatic control of induction heating process.A practical application of the model of production line proves a feasible result.
