Abstract
Ethnic culture is successive, cumulative and characterized by distinct ethnic features and styles. When we are constructing an advanced ethnic culture, we should be established in tradition, learn from the advanced and advocate comprehensive creation. Moreover we should carry forward the advanced part and abandon the decrepit part of traditional culture. The process of constructing an advanced ethnic culture is to establish the new culture that criticizes yet inherits tradition on one hand, represents the contemporary spirit on the other hand. In other words, it is a process rooted in one’s own nationality and open to the outside.
