Abstract

An LC/MS-MS method for the determination of polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in electrical and electronic equipments were established. The polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers was extracted with toluene using ultrasonator from samples, quantified using exterior standard method and identified using isotopes by LC/MS-MS.When the spiked concentrations of pentabrominated biphenyl, octabrominated biphenyl, decabrominated biphenyl, pentabrominated diphenyl ether, octabrominated diphenyl ether and decabrominated diphenyl ether were 50 mg\5kg-1,100 mg\5kg-1 and 150 mg\5kg-1,the average recoveries(n=10) were 85.5%~107% and the RSDs(n=10) were 1.10%~6.60%.The limits of quantificatation were 50 mg\5kg-1 and the dependent coefficients of the linear function were 0.9963~0.9995 in the range of 0~200 mg\5kg-1.
