Abstract
There are NS,NW-SE,NE-SW and WE direction faults developed in Reshuizhen geothermal field, and most of them are tensional faults forming the main channels for hot water growing up.The recharge area of the hot water is the western and northern mountainous areas away from the geothermal field to west and north where the precipitation permeated into the ground and flowed to the lower part of the geothermal field. The water was heated by invaded granite and basalt rocks by means of heat conduction, and then went along with the fractures, forming a shallow water reservoir of geothermal field. The geothermal field water belongs to mid-low temperature fracture water originated from precipitation.
