Abstract

Objective To explore the strategy and clinical effect of renal artery CT angiography in embolotherapy for acute renal hemorrhage. Methods Thirty-eight patients of acute renal hemorrhage underwent renal artery CT angiography before embolotherapy. All bleeding renal arteries were found and blocked one by one in embolotherapy. The strategy and clinical effect of renal artery CT angiography in embolotherapy for acute renal hemorrhage were analysed retrospectively. Results Diagnosis in etiology of acute renal hemorrhage was confirmed, and all 47 the bleeding renal arteries were found in thirty-eight patients underwent renal artery CT angiography before embolotherapy.While,51 bleeding renal arteries were located and embolized successfully in embolotherapy.Diagnostic accuracy of renal artery CT angiography before embolotherapy was 92.16%(47/51).Conclusion Renal artery CT angiography before embolotherapy can confirm the diagnosis in etiology of acute renal hemorrhage and provide the effect of location for finding the bleeding renal arteries in embolotherapy.
