Abstract
In this paper,an experimental platform for building automation based on LonWorks technique is proposed.This platform includes security systems,intelligent meter reading systems,fire linkage systems,and HVAC and other intelligent systems in the building automation systems.It provides a reliable and open platform for students not only to learn LonWorks networking technology and LonTalk protocol,but also to develop fieldbus-based nodes.
