Abstract
With carbon rod as the battery electrode, orthogonal experiment was used to study the effect of electrolytic method in treating wastewater simulated with nitrobenzene. The results showed that the factors influencing the removal rate of nitrobenzene were listed in the following orders according to their importance in the process, namely voltage, electrolysis time and the initial concentration of nitrobenzene and electrolyte(Na2SO4) concentration.Under 3 groups of experimental conditions, the removal rate of nitrobenzene was 100%,the best electrolysis conditions were as follows: the concentration of nitrobenzene was 0.1 mL L-1,the concentration of Na2SO4 was 10g L-1,electrolysis voltage was 15 V,and electrolysis time was 90 min.In addition, these factor's reaction mechanism in the removal of nitrobenzene electrolysis was discussed preliminarily.
