Abstract
The V2O5/SiO2 catalysts with various vanadia loading for isobutane dehydrogenation have been prepared by impregnation method. The structure and properties of catalysts are characterized by XRD,FT-IR,TPR and micro-fixed bed reactor.Catalytic test shows that monomeric vanadia has higher catalytic activity for isobutane dehydrogenation than crystalline vanadia. The catalyst with 8% vanadia content has higher catalytic activity. The isobutane conversion and isobutene selectivity achieve 34% and 95%,respectively.
