Reactive Oxygen Species Regulate NF-κB and JNK-Mediated Signaling Pathway

Abstract

Reactive oxygen species(ROS) are widely generated in biological systems and are active combination that obtains oxidation,cell may sustain generation and degration of ROS via many ways.Recently,results of some studies show ROS act as second messengers to regulate signal transduction concerned with proliferation,differentiation and apoptosis.c-Jun N-teminal kinase(JNK) may mediate cell apoptosis by oxidative stress,cytokine and violet.And,nuclear factor-κ gene binding(NF-κB) is one of the targets which can mediate oxidative stress.Further studies have revealed that NF-κB inhibited JNK activation by suppressing accumulation of ROS.In this review,the regulation of NF-κB and JNK signaling pathway mediated by ROS were summarized.
