Abstract

Tao Yuan-ming's life philosophy mainly deals with the idea of being free from pain and living with peace of mind.Firstly,in connection with the shortness of lifeand the inevitability ofdeath,Tao Yuan-ming showed clear rationality and put forward the theme of being culturally obedient which is characterized by fatalism.Secondly,in accordance with the distress of misfortune,Tao Yuan-ming was quite contradictory and chose the poetic inhabitation of naturalistic belief. It is this cultural obedience that helped build a mental homeland for the later literatis.
