Abstract
Compared to the mining of gently inclined coal seam and flat seam,the overburden structure of coal swam with large inclined angle is of different characteristics after mining.So the study of overburden structure in mining deeply inclined coal seam has a great significance to production practices and the safety in production.In view of situation of 5-103 working face located in Pangpang Ta mining area of Huozhou coal mine,the evolution of stress field and the process of overburden failure during mining coal with different inclined angle were simulated by software FLAC3D and UDEC.With the change of irctined angle,the evolution characters of stress field and three zones and the failure law of coal wall and floor were summarized from the contrastive analysis.
