Abstract
Based on the important role of lubrication technology in rolling process, the rolling lubrication action, the effect of rolling lubrication on rolling process and the relationship between rolling lubrication and energy-saving and environmental protection are expounded in this paper. It is further to explain the application effect in hot and cold rolling process, including the rolling force-decreasing and energy-saving in hot rolling and the improvement of the rolled surface quality in cold rolling. The application fields and the research targets of rolling lubrication are presented at last.
