Abstract

The basic meaning of benevolence is love.Filial and piety and love others are its first essence.Respect,tolerance,credit,quickness, and wisdom are the five forms of benevolence.Faithfulness and forgiveness are the ideal way to realize benevolence.Currently,Confucius' benevolence can provide some instructions to the construction of the harmonious society.
