Research and Analysis on the Load Forecasting Method of the Electric Power System

Load forecasting is important content of the plan and research of electric power systems.The accuracy of the load forecasting will directly affect the rationlity of investment,network topology and operation,which is to ensure the premise of reliable power supply of the electric power system and economic operation and the basis for the planning development of the electric power system.For this,the paper analyzes short-term load forecasting method based on BP network and medium and long term load forecasting methods based on the grey forecast.
