Niaoduling Capsule for the Treatment of Chronic Renal Failure:A Report of 55 Cases

Abstract

Niaoduling capsule was used to treat 55 cases of chronic renal failure (CRF). The results showed that the total effective rate is up to 81.82%. Niaoduling capsule had a better effect on CRF with spleen- and kidney- qi deficiency or qi and yin deficiency than that with yin and yang deficiency, the difference being not significant (P 0.05). It could protect the survival nephrons. No obvious toxic and side effects were found. It is indicated that Niaoduling capsule is safe and effective for CRF.
