Application of Remote Sensing Technology in the Assessment of Placer Gold Potential of Mineral Resources in Tibet

It has a long history of the exploitation and utilization of placer gold in Tibet.A large number of placer gold mineral points widely distributed in this area.It indicates the potential of placer gold resources.But the geological of most region is low level.To effectively carry out the potential of placer gold in short-term,remote sensing technology has played an important role.In this paper,we took Bengna-zangbu forscast region for example.The content,methods and results were introduced of the evaluation about placer gold potential by remote sensing technology.
