Abstract

The completed contamination control system and technology are very crucial for spacecraft development.The paper introduces the importance of contamination control,some examples of spacecraft performance failures and degradation due to contamination.Methods and technologies of contamination control are represented for each phase of spacecraft development.Progress and problems which are needed to solve urgently are mentioned in contamination engineering.
