Abstract
In the experiment the joint effect of inorganic coagulant and organic coagulant aid are utilized to treat the paper mill wastewater. After the selection of the coagulant, aluminum sulfate and PAM is chosen as coagulant and coagulant aid respectively. Further more the optimal dosage of aluminum sulfate and PAM and the influencing factors such as pH value are studied at the same time. The results of pilot experiment are favorable, when the dosage of aluminum sulfate is 1800mg·L~(-1) and the dosage of PAM is 2mg·L~(-1), the removal ratios of all contaminations reach the maximums, the removal ratio of CODCr 、NTU and SS is 68.9%、98.69% and 97.44% respectively. The effluent is colorless and translucent, and its BOD_5/COD_(Cr) value increased from 0.21 to 0.64, therefore it can be biodegradable treatment.
